Anki Cozmo: Cosmo will not wake up and drive off charger. What is going wrong?

Our cosmo has not been used for a bit and when we recently attempted to start him up, we found the he is in constant wake up mode.

The robot will not drive off the charger and if I pick him up and move him, the app message constantly says that he is waking up.

Seemingly related, if I fiddle with the app enough, I can get into the tuneup portion, but that menu tells me he is not upright.

Any ideas?

After months of cozmo not being used, the WiFi that appears when trying to connect to cozmo wont appear anymore. i tried everything every time when i place him on the charging station he lifts his head and blinks the green light and that is it.

While trying to do many tasks Cozmo will not function because it says it says it wants to be put down or set upright on its treads. It won't move on it’s own, interact with cubes or perform facial recognition. A tune up won't work because it keeps popping up with the same messages about being put down or set on its tracks.
