Amazon Fire TV Stick: Firestick stop working on TV

My firestick stopped working so I ordered anew one. It won't pair and I cannot get the app screen to stay on. I have ITV and other apps on the TV and can't get to them or the settings. The only thing that comes on without my choosing is one channel on teh ITV app. Nothing on the firestick can change it. Really strange problem.

I got a new WiFi network, and now my Amazon Fire TV is stuck on the network setup screen. I lost the remote, so I can’t connect it to the Fire TV app on my phone. I tried switching TVs and unplugging it many times, but nothing works.

Is there any way to do a factory reset or fix this without having an actual remote?

I switch to the correct HDMI input that my firestick 4k is connected but no signal stopped working like 2 months ago tried on multiple TVs and same result no TV picks up the signal I don't know if there's a cold solder joint but I don't see any bent or broken pins inside the HDMI port on the stick itself

Mediatek logo is on left and right side of my TV screen. That's all it shows. It does flash as if it's trying to reboot. I have followed all the reset instructions and contacted Amazon CS, they didn't have a clue.

Any suggestions, other than buy a new TV? I wouldn't mind trying to repair it.

I just got new broadband internet and now my Firestick will only play movies? And not the tv channels it used to? The internet guy said it could possibly be because of the IP address? My stick used to say a certain town and now it says something different.. does that matter?

Why would it allow me to play movies but not the local tv channels, I had been playing previously?

Is there a way to fix this without erasing and starting over? :(

I erroneously reset Fire TV stick lite via fire tv app when the remote stopped working. Now it is stuck at initial setup screen. The remote wont work and fire tv app is not able to find the stick as all settings have been erased. Kindly help with a Solution.

Hello, my amazon fire tv (model DV83YW, released 2017, has a sims card slot. My FireTV stick is connected to my computer screen. I unplugged the FireTV stick from the power, waited 10 seconds, rebooted to the Network Connection Lost screen, then pressed & hold the select & home button on my new, used, remote for 1 minute. Still not working. Is there a solution to this?

My friend gave me his Fire TV 4K. He decided to complicate things for me a bit, as I thinks he reset it (he's not sure), and then lost the remote. I managed to get a remote (with TV controls on it - it's the 2018 2nd gen remote - looks the same as the one he had).

So I plugged in the Fire TV, it turned on and the first screen I saw after the logo is the "Select your Network" screen. I tried to pair the remote so I can select the network -

-by holding the home button

-by holding the home and center buttons

-by doing the whole reset shebang

Nada. Zilch. Nista. The remote blinks orange in the first two instances, first slowly and then faster. I kept it practically on top of the Firestick, to reduce the distance.

Now, I'm stuck - the remote does not pair on this screen. I also tried using LAN (I have the adapter), but that got me one screen further (Sign in to your account or register an account). Still no pairing.

Tried changing my wifi name to match what he has at home - no joy there either. I'm gonna go to his place next week, but was wondering if there might be something I missed?

Amazon Fire Stick 4k: Firestick remote won’t turn tv on/off when synced to soundbar

I’ve gotten my Firestick remote to connect to my TV (Sharp) to turn on/off but when I try to connect soundbar (Samsung) to change the volume it also sets it up to turn the soundbar on/off which I don’t need it to do because the soundbar automatically turns on/off and then the remote won’t turn the TV on/off anymore. I just want my remote to turn the TV on/off and do the soundbar volume, but it is determined to turn the soundbar on/off and then not turn the TV on/off. Is there a way around this? I tried setting them both up and then going into the volume control settings in the Firestick to tell it not to power the soundbar on/off but nothing is working
