Amazon Fire TV Stick: Firestick stop working on TV

My firestick stopped working so I ordered anew one. It won't pair and I cannot get the app screen to stay on. I have ITV and other apps on the TV and can't get to them or the settings. The only thing that comes on without my choosing is one channel on teh ITV app. Nothing on the firestick can change it. Really strange problem.

My home WiFi has been changed. Therefore my app for the fire tv remote won’t connect to my actual tv. Please can someone help or else I won’t be able to watch the tv again. P.s I don’t have an actual remote and not sure if I can buy a new one to connect to this

I erroneously reset Fire TV stick lite via fire tv app when the remote stopped working. Now it is stuck at initial setup screen. The remote wont work and fire tv app is not able to find the stick as all settings have been erased. Kindly help with a Solution.

one of my neighbors moved and tossed out a 1st gen fire stick that works perfectly fine. it didn't have the remote but another neighbor moved and tossed out a non working 2nd gen fire stick with a 2nd gen remote that has the volume buttons. i'm trying to pair that remote to the working fire stick but have been unsuccessful. is that remote even compatible

Amazon Fire TV Stick: Firestick turns off and wont turn back on.

Hi everyone. My firestick (2021 version not 4k) has a weird issue with one of my tv’s. When I turn the tv off at night I leave the firestick on. When I turn the tv on the following day the firestick has turned itself off and is non-responsive. No amount of button pressing will emit a response. I have to get up and flick the power off and on at the socket. This always gets it back up and running again.

The firestick never just turns itself off randomly as a lot of other posters have issues with. It only does it once the tv is off. I suspect it is timing itself out and turning off, but I’m not sure why it then can’t be roused from its slumber.

This is the second firestick that has done this with this TV (Soniq 32 inch about 10 yr old). I have moved one to the lounge where it works fine. I.e I turn the tv off at night and it is all good to go the next night. It is asleep but a button press on the remote wakes it right up.

Any ideas, help or suggestions most welcome.

Power stick will power up. Has a message pop up saying it no longer will read my remote. Clocked out the batteries and tried again and it would not read the remote and it would not pair up. Tried a brand new remote and it still will not pair up. Has my fire stick gone bad?

I I seen in a previous post that someone was having an issue with their firestick and their Element TV Circa 2010 I bought the splitter that was recommended and my picture is flashing in and out any suggestions? Talk to Amazon and they said the TV is too old and is not compatible with firestick even with the splitter

Hi,

I have a 1st gen basic FireTV stick. The remote is broken, so I was using the App to control it. Yesterday, I accidentally clicked on ‘Forget Network’ on the WiFi network it was connected to. Now, the stick is stuck at the ‘Home page is unavailable’ screen, and I cannot connect using the App.

I tried to pair with a newer remote, but I’m unable to pair the new remote with the old device. Is there any way I can get the stick connected to my home WiFi again?

My Firestick boots to a message in the middle of the screen saying “Home is currently unavailable”. A button at the bottom of that message says in grey “ GO TO NETWORK SETTINGS “ Home is highlighted yellow with the word Settings next to it in grey at the top left of the screen. The Firestick does not respond to the remote so I can’t make changes. Another box eventually pops up saying “network connection lost” with Network settings button in yellow and “Dismiss” button to the right of it in grey” eventually it fades to the screen saver after not responding to the remote. I have tried everything I can find on the internet with no resolution.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Brand new fire stick. When I plug into my main tv through my hdmi switch, the switch recognizes it’s there but the tv says No-signal. Any other device I plug in works and the fire stick works on other TVs. I had an old firestick connected through this switch a few years ago and now not even that stick works on this tv.

so a little background story I've had a fire stick in my Samsung TV for quite some time and after a while I feel it needs to be reset to factory defaults just so it can not have all that cache built up.

Usually, it works just fine no problems whatsoever but this time when I press the microphone button to talk to Alexa she doesn't hear me the remote has absolutely no input and I've checked the batteries they're brand new chargeable energizer batteries so just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and how do they fix it?

I'm very skilled with repairs I have the I fix it pro tool kit so if I need to take apart my remote I will I'm not worried about warranties I'm just wondering if anybody else just had this problem and how exactly can I fix it?

Have a new fire stick and trying to log in to apps like ESPN with tv subscription from midco. When I put in my info, it acts like it is working and then sends me back to subscription page. This is only for apps that I have to put my subscription info in on fire stick. Some tv apps I verify with a code from my phone and it works perfect. Anyone have any help? Thanks!

I tried painting my remote by using mu tv remote like i always do but when i I try to pair it will leave the pairing option, I tried several times so i tried to restart it by going to my device but it will not work!!It will just click but it will go back to the same screen , I even tried to go to references and the same problem occurred, i can enter applications and pairing., i unplugged the device but still the same. now i cannot view the home screen it say the device is not connecte to the server restart it by going to setting my device. How can restart if i cannot go to my device to do so!!? I cannot restart by using the remote i cannot even use my mobile.

Help me please. Is there a solution to this

I cannot buy a new one because its not sold anymore where i live

I am having “Amazon Fire TV Stick” 2nd generation which when powered on boots and stops at “Fire TV” logo

I have tried keeping it on for more than 24 hours; did not fix it. I tried Fixing it with Remote key combination; did not work. I tried connecting it to PC/Laptop but drivers did not get installed (pic attached)

. adbLink also does not recognizes it. I am really hopeless now how to fix it. Please help, can anyone
