Amazon Fire 5th Generation: Amazon logo bootloop. (Possibly because of corrupt recovery?)

I’ve had this tablet for about 4 years now. I bricked it about 3 years ago but I don’t remember what bricked it. I tried to fix it several times but I never had success. I don’t have a lot of experience with android devices (I’m an Apple guy). My guess is that I was installing a custom recovery but it was for the wrong model. When I tried to boot it up for the first time in about a year there was nothing on the display. I reconnected the display cable and it showed the battery charging symbol when I plugged it in. Then it started to bootloop on the silver amazon logo (not the fire logo) as I remembered. It refuses to enter recovery which leads me to believe that I’m correct about the recovery being corrupt. As far as I know there is no other way to connect it to a computer. Apple devices have DFU mode which can always be entered even if there is no NAND flash chip at all. Is there any DFU equivalent for this device so I can try to flash the stock recovery? Its not a big deal, I bought this tablet for $50 4 years ago and its only worth about $25 now. It just annoys me that it’s been bricked for 3 years. Thanks!

When I switch on my tab its staring screen Fire changes to blue colour ( it was red before) LCD screen getting smaller & blinks on and off.

I replaced the cracked screen on a kindle fire. Now when it powers on the picture is washed out and light. The screen color is iridescent and almost like a rainbow. Changing the brightness on the device doesn't help.

I replaced my kindle fire 5th gen rotting charging adapter and now the battery (which was good before) wont charge. I checked the 4 connections from the new charging port and they are good . I get 2.8 volts on the battery terminals. but it still sits at 1%. Also reset device to factory settings and updated software. this is the second one with the exact same problem. Any ideas ?

My Kindle kept crashing so I tried soft and hard resets. Still crashing. Now stuck on fire logo.

Been trying system recovery menu options.

Wipe data/factory reset is only wiping data and not factory resetting?!?!

I’ll log onto my WiFi via the password. However the tablet will entirely forget about the WiFi by itself hours later, and I will have to re-enter the password. Why is this?

I replaced digitizer on this device. The screen is completely white, but if I tilt the device I can see a picture. The touch function works. Is there something that I'm missing with this repair? I double-checked all connections. The problem seems to be that there is too much backlight. Thanks for your time.

My device present charge unless I hold the micro usb in a specific position I have tried a new cable but that doesn't make any difference,but I don't trust myself to replace the usb port so I was wondering if anyone new of a place that repairs micro usb port.

So, basically what is happening is, my kindle refuses to turn on. I have tried doing the hard reset stuff, charging it, etc. When I power it up it says Amazon and the proceeds to sit on the "Fire" screen. If i happen to get lucky enough that it turns on, within 40 seconds the screen freezes and i cant do anything except hard reset it again. This has been going on for about 24 hours now and ive tried just about everything i can think of. there are absolutely no repair shops around and this kindle is te only way that i am able to contact anyone, help would be uch appriciated.

I’ve owned this Amazon, Fire Kindle for around 8 years, Then one day I accidentally dropped it, and my keyboard would pop up for email, but I could only type a few words then I coudnt’t type anything, The same thing applied to any games that didn't give me a keyboard, I eventually figured out my spacebar was breaking the keyboard, I didn't care bc I could still log in just fine. It worked perfectly fine last night, now its keyboard barley pops up, and when it does I can’t type anything, I have no idea how this happened…. I tried restarting it, but even after 20 restarts the darn thing still won’t work. It allows me to have my keyboard to switch accounts though, I wanna reboot the entire thing if it will fix my keyboard but without my password, the suggestions on this site are pretty useless… perhaps it's because of the age of the fire, but another issue is my charger peace inside the Fire is loose, and falls out and has to be placed perfectly or it won’t charge… I also tried shaking my tablet, I think I hear something loose in it, Plz help me this tablet my only device I can play my very fav game on, and I don’t think my parents will get me another tablet any time soon, plz tell me how to reboot the entire device, everything else seems hopeless at this point.

the cord is the same cord when I got it but when its charged and I turn it on after a few minutes it powers off and says its dead when I turn it back on
