Amazon Echo Show: Why is there no lighting to my echo show?

My echo show works perfectly, except the lighting is permanently turned off. I adjusted the brightness to the highest settings and it won't light up. My son was watching a video on it one day and it was like a power outage, the brightness, light turned off. We can still use it, but can barely see videos because it's dark, no lighting. So we stopped watching videos and taking face to face phone calls. How do I fix this?
