Amazon Echo Dot: Alexa can't set alarm for me. Says is a problem when I ask.

Amazon Echo Dot: Losing BT connection to Bose Speakers when they hit sleep mode.

External Bose Bluetooth speakers go into a sleep mode when nothing is being transmitted to them. Dot, while always listening for the wake word, doesn't seem to be sending 'keep alive' signals to the Bluetooth. So after a period of time, the Bluetooth will disconnect and won't reconnect until you press the button on the speaker or tell Dot to connect to the speakers again. I believe that Dot needs to send keep alives. I'm looking for a solution.

Amazon Echo Dot: EchoDot Not seeing Bluetooth Devices

My EchoDot has stopped seeing and connecting to my Bluetooth speaker or to my Bluetooth earphones.

Both the speaker and earphones are seen in the ALEXA app on my iPhone.

The problem started shortly after I had added the new earphones. The earphones work OK with my iPhone (play music, etc.). I do not try to join both devices at the same time. Bill D.

When I connect an external speaker via Bluetooth, the music stops coming out of the Dot. I want music out of the dot AND the Bluetooth speaker.

My 3rd gen echo dot is supplied with plug of two flat pins, but I live in the uk with 3 pin sockets. Can anyone please tell me what I need for a plug? I’ve tried a plug adapter but it won’t work with this, so I don’t know what I need to buy.

Amazon Echo Dot: Echo Dot will not turn on

1.I have tried turning off modem/router, then unplugging the Echo Dot before turning everything on again. 2. Restart button with paper clip. 3. Activation button on top of Dot. 4. Holding down mute button and volume decrease button at same time.

None of these work. The Echo Dot will simply not turn on. And I get no wi-fi for Alexa when I go to Alexa App, choose device, and search for the Alexa App wi-fi.

Can anyone recommend a external speaker to be connected to dot, BY CABLE. I do not want to run my wireless JBL speaker by Bluetooth and leave it plugged in on charge all the time

reason, Dot was a gift and I want better speaker quality without spending full value of larger Echo.

Connector cables I can purchase, but want recommendation of speaker.

And her is final question, If I get set up by cable, (external speaker) will it convert to only the nice stereo speaker take over, or will have I have both on at same time.

Amazon Echo Dot: Mic turns on by itself after being manually turned off

I keep my Echo Dot mic turned off til I need it. However, I often find that it is turned on again. I live alone so no one else is fooling with it. Any suggestions?
