Amazon Echo 2nd Generation: Convert Echo-2ndGen to "dumb" bluetooth speaker (no Alexa!)

I want to use my Amazon Echo (2nd Gen) as a ‘dumb’ bluetooth speaker without using Alexa. I know I can match it to an Arduino or RasPi which would manage the Alexa piece. But it would be way cool to access the Echo 2gen bluetooth radio directly.

Thoughts? General idea suggesttions welcome.

Thanks

Amazon Echo 2nd Generation: Temperature reading is 4 to 5 degrees low

Is there a way to adjust the temperature reading on my Echo 2nd Generation Plus.

It reads about 5 degrees low all the time. Can this be tweaked inside, or do I have to mentally add the 4 - 5 degrees when I look at room temp ?

Amazon Echo 2nd Generation: My aux port doesn't work

I haven’t gotten quality speakers until a year later so the warrant just ended. I plugged in the aux cable for the first time and it doesn’t make any sound. It doesn’t really click in and instead just kinda sits there. It’s making a weak connection because the echo does recognize it’s connected if wiggled in the right position because it stops playing music at that moment. I think the aux port broke loose and needs to be repositioned or something similar. Is it possible to access the bottom of the echo and repair the aux port?

Amazon Echo 2nd Generation: Is there a way to turn off calling but leave on messaging please?

Is there a way to turn off my kids calling contacts but still be able to call the echo devices within my home please?

I've had to turn off their devices from communicating as they were calling anyone & everyone all the time & really bugging everyone in my contacts but it won't allow me to leave household drop-in on so we can communicate within our home.

They also can't message anyone at all. The settings should allow you to choose which device can do what & which contact, unfortunately, it's all or nothing unless you know something I don't please?

If anyone has an answer or solution, I'd be grateful.

Thank you.
