My speaker broke a while back from idk what, but when i turn it on i dont hear anything at all even when I connect it to my phone, only thing i can hear is very faint static. Ive been looking for a fix for awhile and cant find anything about it thats been useful.

Altec Lansing Super Life Jacket: Loud Static upon powering on

My speaker does not say “Powering On, Altec Lansing” and there is a loud static coming from 2 speakers 1 on each side of speaker and then a low hum on both sides of the speaker 1 speaker each. It connects to the Bluetooth connection on my phone and the aux cord to my phone but I cannot hear any music, just loud static.

These speakers worked so well but recently stopped charging. It appears the connection on the side of the speaker has slightly melted and will no longer charge. I'm just curious if it can be replaced.

Altec Lansing Super Life Jacket: Will not connect to bluetooth

I am on my second Super Life Jacket that has the same symptoms, bluetooth

will not pair to phone. Called the company and they said to run the battery all the way down to reset the unit. No Luck! The unit is just out of warranty and the Mfg. is not interested in helping me get it fixed, nor can they give me any advice of where to send it for repair.
