I have an Alcatel One Touch Idol three the screen is cracked, the display still works but the touch input no longer works. Could you tell me if I need to replace the LCD and the glass panel or if I only have to replace the glass panel. I have had difficulties finding the part on the internet. Any help on finding or and replacing this would be helpful.

Alcatel One Touch Idol 3: MMS message's not sending or downloading

My phone, Alcatel One Touch Idol 3, will not receive or send MMS messages. It will just continue to say downloading until it times out. Is this a simple setting that needs corrected?

Alcatel One Touch Idol 3: Why won't my phone connect to the Wifi?

Recently I have been having trouble with the wifi connectivity of my alcatel one touch idol 3. I have Wifi at my home, but my phone only has one wifi bar and is very slow on it. However, my fiance has the same phone and it works perfectly fine with all wifi bars. My computer and other devices connect and work just fine with the wifi. At my work, my phone says that the wifi there is "Saved" but won't connect to it. I have reset routers, rebooted my phone, taken out my SIM card and put it back in, and have done everything I can. I'm about ready to give up. I just got this phone in October.

Alcatel One Touch Idol 3: I can't disable the lock screen!

I set a PIN lock on my phone while it was charging at work and now I can't disable the PIN and change it back to SWIPE to unlock it or disable the lock screen at all. I've gone into my Security settings and cleared the credentials but I'm still unable to fix it.

When i make call or receive a call, i'm not hearing anything on the ear piece, if i use it in Loud speaker and ear phone its working fine, What is the issues? how to fix this?

Alcatel One Touch Idol 3: Why there are horizontal white lines in my phone after screen replace?

Hello!I just replaced my alcatel idol 3 screen.I made everything correctly.When I turn on the phone I see horizontal short lines that change length during navigation.Another strange thing is that when I unlock the screen the lines disappear totally for nearly 1/4 or half a second,and then appear again.The white lines do not flickerand change length and width only during navigation. Please can anyone help me or give me an advice? I'll attach the picture of the phone.Thank you!!

My Phone was always covered by a Flipcase, yesterday i took it out cause the Powerbutton did not react.

But now it dont work anymore. At first it worked after 10 times pushing, but now i have to wait for any message, that the display come out oft "sleep" mode...

what can i do ?? i dont know if i can fix it alone :(

i dont want to loose this phone, its really New... Please help me.

My Alcatel one touch idol three's power button stopped working a couple of weeks ago to the point whenever I had to press the button multiple times to get the screen to turn on and off. I have insurance on it through cricket but the deductible is $75. I want to know if it's worth it to buy the button from someplace like new egg and try to fix it myself or to choose the hefty deductible. Honestly if it came down to that I'd just buy a whole new phone but I really like my one touch idol three and would much rather keep it.

I just bought a new One Touch Idol 3, and after approximately 6 hours of charging (with the original charger) nothing happens when I try to start the device. Hard reset (power + volume up) etc. hasn't produced anything either. Suggestions?

I charged my phone and when I unplugged it, the touchscreen stopped working.

I did a safe boot, but this did not correct the problem.

I then did a factory reset, this also did not correct the problem?

My phone was dropped maybe twice within 2 minutes on a concrete floor. This wasn't even a bad crack. It was something I could live with. But after I noticed it was cracked, then I noticed it was not working. This is one of the best phones I've had (I had the iPhone 6 and traded it for this because it was so good). I really need help. I would need to know what I would need to do, replace it with a FoxPaw machine at the store or just buy a complete new phone.

Alcatel One Touch Idol 3: Serious problem after latest OTA update

Hi everybody, I really hope to get some help here...

I have updated my device (Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 5.5") to the latest Android version released by Alcatel OTA a few days ago : 5.0.2-010 08

Since the update I am having serious problems with my Alarm app and with any other Alarm app I have tried.

I notice 2 main problems :

1. The alarm icon vanishes from the notification bar as soon as the app is removed from the "recent apps rack", thus, the alarm doesn't go off.

2. Alarms don't go off when the screen is off and/of locked. So practically I have to keep the screen on all the time for it to work, which is rediculous.

Needless to say none of these was an issue before the OS update.

I read somewhere that the update made changes to app permissions to work in the background but I can't seem to find any way to view or modify this kind of permission (it is not present in the permissions list of the app under Settings>Apps)

Please help !

If not - is there any way to rollback to the previois OS version ?

i charge my phone and the power wont move or will continue to decrease with any use at all. other days it works perfectly fine, but randomly it wont hold power.
