Alcatel One Touch Fierce: Why is my power button intermittent?

The power button on my son's phone only works with many attempts to turn it on from the "sleep" mode. If someone calls in the phone will wake. Sometimes he is not able to wake it up at all. I saw one answer on your site for pressing the power button with the -volume button to re-boot another android type phone. Should I try this or is this problem more of a mechanical button problem? Thanks for any help...don't think he can afford to buy a new phone.

I dropped my Alcatel one touch 7024w and now it won't turn on. But when I plug the phone into the charger the charging comes on in the corner. But I try to turn it on and Nothing. What could be the problem and some ways to check possibilities. Please help.

Alcatel One Touch Fierce: Power Button Broken Can't Turn On

My Alcatel One Touch power button broke completely; and my phone died which made the situation worst. I tried so many different ways to turn it back on. I put it in charge it was fully charged, but didn't open. I tried to hard reset it but the power button is needed to select; so now every time i put it in charge if it has enough charge it will bring me back to the rest options. I just need a way to turn it on, then I will just download an app to use my volume button as my power button. Does anybody know a way for me to turn this on without the power button.

Alcatel One Touch Fierce: Why is my phone freezing, crashing,and refusing to turn on?

I noticed about a week ago I was using my phone and all of the sudden it froze and then it just turned black and turned off and then when I try to turn it back on it's doesn't turn on and I will hold the power button down for a very long time and then I'll leave it alone for a couple hours and then I'll come back and all the sudden it turns on. I know this can't be caused by it not being charged because it was completely charged when this started happening and I've been keeping it nicely charged and I know it can't be caused by an app I have because I did a system recovery on it. I would just like to figure out how to get my phone to stop freezing and crashing and refusing to turn on. Please help me if you can. I took it into the store and asked them about it and they said that they couldn't do anything to help me. They said that they recommend me getting a replacement but they said that I probably wouldn't get a replacement given to me because the sides of my phone are a bit scuffed up and that I would probably get blamed for breaking it myself by dropping it but between the time that I had lost use my phone and the time that it started acting up I did not drop it at all or get it wet. the people in the story basically said that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to buy a new phone but my phone is not completely broken its just freezing and crashing and I feel that someone should help me fix it instead of me spending money to buy a new phone because I can't afford a new one.

Alcatel One Touch Fierce: When I try to unlock it stays Black screen

When I lock my phone it goes black like it should but when I go to unlock it, nothing happens except the home button and the rest of thel light up just not my screen? I have to shut it off for it to work and then sometimes it freezes at the lock screen and I have to try again. What should I do? Had it for a week brand new from store and haven't dropped it once
