I have an old Braun alarm clock. It's from some time in the 80's. I want to have a look inside it, but can't figure out how to open it. There are no visible screws, so I'm quite sure, it somehow snaps together. I, however, don't want to break it, by just randomly prying at the seams.
So, does anyone know how to open these clocks, without breaking them?

Oregon Scientific RM329PU: How do I disassemble the Oregon Scientific RM329PU (setting time zone)

There are no physical buttons to set the time zone for the radio-controlled clock. As a result, the clock automatically sets itself to Germany's time zone (since it receives the DCF77 time signal from Frankfurt). While I can manually adjust the time, I would appreciate finding a way to set the time zone.

I find it hard to believe this product was designed exclusively for the German time zone. I suspect this function can be adjusted directly through the electronic board, but I'm hesitant to disassemble the clock. There are only two visible screws in the battery unit, and removing them hasn't made any difference. Are all the parts clipped or glued together? Any suggestions on how to open it or adjust the time zone would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sony ICF-C1T: ICF-C1 Clock runs fast

Hi everyone - my ICF-C1 clock radio runs fast, gaining about 1 minute and 20 seconds every month. I cannot locate a schematic for this clock radio, so I am unsure if I can modify an RC/crystal circuit to adjust the timing or whether this uses the 60hz mains frequency as a reference. Has anyone had any luck in locating a schematic diagram or in replacing a resistor or capacitor to have more accurate time? Technician with 30 years experience here, just looking for a diagram or helpful advice.

Thanks,

Alarm Clock: My Spartus alarm clock is displaying weird symbols.

Hello,

I've had a Spartus Digital Alarm Clock for a while, but it never worked. Whenever I plug it in, it just shows this:

But when I put in a 9-volt battery, it works, but runs 5 minutes fast.

Here's some things I've tried:

Opening up the unit to see if anything was wrong

Seeing if any contact points were not connecting correctly ( i ended up almost shorting the board because i used the metal end)

Checking for frayed wires

None of them resulted in my clock working. How can I fix this?
