Wanting to put on new Kelly ignition harness but the outlet plate is original and will not accept the male threads that are supplied with new harness. Where could I get a couple of outlet plates that will work?

I think I can use that sparkplug plug as a P-Lead plug and save myself a lot of money. Am I correct?
