my air conditioner needs a new sh start motor capacitor.

the original that needs to be replaced is a 4/35uF... and the one I was sent is a 35/4uF...

the numbers are inverted...voltage the same as all other infos, but before i go and connect it i wanna make sure it works...

any technicians perhaps here with an idea?

Air Conditioning: How to connect new thermostat to ducted heating and swamp cooler

Hello.

I have a swamp (evaporative) cooler and ducted heater which have both been connected to the same thermostat remote control, a Bonaire Comfort Control remote.

The remote control has now broken, and I would like to connect both units to a new thermostat.

The wires available to connect to a new thermostat are brown, red, orange and yellow.

I was interested in purchasing a basic Honeywell system, however the wiring diagrams make no allowance for a brown wire (see picture). The retailer does not believe joint wiring on the Honeywell is a possibility.

In fact, I havent found any thermostats that make allowances for brown wires, other than the original Comfort Control remote, which is no longer produced.

I dont know what the brown wire is for specifically.

Has anyone had this same issue before? How to resolve it?

Portable Air Conditioners: How to Disassemble Sharp Air Cooler PJ-A200TV-B? Pump Replacement

I own a Sharp air cooler (PJ-A200TV-B) and the water pump has failed, most likely due to our Malaysian water quality causing mineral buildup over time. The fan still works fine, but without the pump circulating water, it’s basically just blowing normal air.

I’ve removed every screw I can find on the unit, including the obvious ones at the back and bottom, but I still can’t fully dismantle it. It honestly feels like this thing was designed never to be opened. I don’t want to force it and risk cracking the plastic clips or damaging the casing.

Another reason I need to take it apart is to properly clean the internal fan, as there’s quite a bit of dust buildup inside. I can only clean the exterior and filters, but the fan blades themselves are hard to reach without opening the unit.

I’ve searched online for a teardown guide or tutorial video but couldn’t find anything specific to this model. I did find a Facebook post from someone who replaced the pump before, but he hasn’t responded to my message. Maybe he’s no longer active.

I’ve already sourced a compatible replacement pump from Shopee, so I’m ready to fix it myself. I just need guidance on how to properly open the unit and access the pump without breaking anything.

If anyone here owns the same model or has experience taking apart Sharp air coolers, I’d really appreciate any advice, photos, or step-by-step tips. Thanks in advance.

Air Conditioning: Loud noise from inverter air conditioner

There is a loud noise coming from the outdoor unit of the inverter air conditioner. It's like the sound of a hammer drill. It only happens when I turn it on after it has been off for several hours. After that, it works normally, with the usual noise. The temperature is -10 degrees Celsius, and the air conditioner can operate at -15 degrees. What could it be, and can anything be done to fix it?

This air conditioner is getting power, the green indicator light on the plug is lit and, if you let the machine sit without power either by manually unplugging it or using the plugs built in circuit breaker then reconnect power, the evaporator blower will start seemingly at full blast then it dies down before cutting off completely, after it’s done this, if you disconnect power and reconnect it immediately the same thing will not occur I suspect that has something to do with the capacitors needing time to discharge but other than that there is no other indication that the machine is receiving power the control panel is completely unresponsive and no lights will illuminate on the machine so my question is, what’s wrong?
