AirPods 2019: airpods 2 fell and do not connect to phone

My left airpod fell, and it wasn’t the first time. I’ve done some research and, as the charging case detects it but when i take it out the phone doesn’t, it most definitely is internal damage, i’ve asked different ai tools and they all say that it has to do with the bluetooth chip or something like that… Honestly my coverage has expired and i’ll buy new ones, but i want to know if there’s a way to fix them at home, as i really consider the airpod completely lost, but have extreme curiosity to see if i can fix it. Thank you!

AirPods 2019: Can I clean the case with ultrasonic cleaner?

I already have an ultrasonic cleaner, I know the speakers are sensitive to the cleaner, so I will do that manually, but the case is dirty too, and has some rust or metallic dirt ( I guess, it is only visible on those spots)over the magnets, which are really hard to remove ( I tried but It made only a little difference) so I thought that I could use the ultrasonic cleaner with soap like chemical and deep clean it, then submerge it in alcohol to remove most of the water and let it dry for a day or so. I am pretty new at cleaning electronics with an ultrasonic cleaner .

AirPods 2019: Are my airpods fixable after this or will I just have to buy new ones?

Hi, so my problem is my airpod gen 2s are kinda being funky.

So for about a year or 2 now they will connect like normal not too many issues there* but the earbuds themselves will die off fast like it feels as if as soon as I put one in I'm already putting the other cuz it died.

I just assumed maybe the airpod case I had was the issue so I tried resetting them and completely abandoning the idea of having a case. Since it was more for looks rather protection, since I take care of my devices well other then one incident where my sibling dropped an airpod into the sink while I was doing dishes but it was brief contact with water.

With that being said I've had them for about 6 years give or take and I used them everyday with maybe about a year n a half to 2 years of not using them so they are in fairly good condition.

*But for some reason it seems to hate my laptop (Chromebook not sure what model) it will connect to it and then disconnects immediately its odd I'm not too sure why that is I've tried resetting the airpods then too as well as the bluetooth and I've even taken the device off my laptop to reconnect it but still to no avail

So in other words I would really like some help with this odd occurrence it tends to get frustrating like being in calls or listening to music while doing things and then having to stop what I'm doing because they decide to act up so I'm looking for the most like inexpensive solution if possible since I can't afford any replacements. please and thank you!

AirPods 2019: I opened up and fixed my right one, what is that black stuff inside?

I had the problem that my right AirPods was significantly quieter. Since my AirPods are pretty old the crack became so loose that I could slip my nail inside and open the AirPods. I found some black like dirt inside of them. Is that supposed to be in there?

Also at some point I got scared and closed it up and now the right one is working fine again (yay).

Did I just get lucky or did I accidentally repair it somehow?

AirPods 2019: Can I fix these airpods?

My dog just bit my left airpod (crying). It’s now producing low quality sound and with low volume below 180 Hz, above this range it works perfect. I think it could be something to do with the airflow for bass. Do you think could fix or improve this somehow? Besides the hardware fix I was thinking if there is any app that prevents only the left airpod from playing frequencies lower than 180Hz, this would greatly help me. The airpods are not covered by warranty anymore.

AirPods 2019: Why does my left airpod make more and clearer noise than my right?

to explain the problem, i often wear my airpods separately to make sure i can still hear some of the traffic close to me. the last week i noticed that my right airpod makes less noise and alot less clearer noise than my left. the weird part is also that if i hold the right airpod slightly out of my ear i hear the noise louder than if i put it in my ear. does anybody recognizes this and how to fix the problem?
