Aiptek DZO-V58N: How to record neighbor's bass clearly

Neighbor is an a**hole, harassed my family for years.

His car pulls into garage direct under my apt, bass pounding. One time bass hit so hard my chair (dining chair) literally bounced around a little with me sitting on it while I was working (accounting, work at home).

Need proof for landlord. Already sent detailed letters documenting years of this crap. He wants more proof.

If it's not a good camera, can you recommend a microphone to capture neighbor's bass exactly as loud and as hard as it hits? Playback's always muffled. Don't know if it'd hold in court if I have to figure out how to adjust the recording to playback as loud as I hear it.

Edit: I know it's an old camera, but it starts recording faster than my phone.

Aiptek DZO-V58N: Why does my camcorder keep turning off?

I charged the battery and put it into my camcorder. But a couple seconds after it turned on it turned back off. I didn't push any buttons but I noticed that other than the little icons, the screen was black the entire time it was on. I tried charging the battery again but the camcorder still turns off!
