Acer Swift 3: My laptop won’t turn on and is flashing orange lights

On my Acer laptop there is two orange flashing lights on the side, it won’t turn on, I’ve tried turning off all power adapters and holding it down for 30 seconds. Nothing has worked and it’s still not turning on, can someone please help me

I own an acer swift 3 SF314-55g and it has an annoying back panel to open as its too tight and there are no gaps to work with. Is there a trick to opening it or is it not even design to be opened?

Hi all, I have an Acer swift sf314-54 which the screen needs replacing , however it dose not seem to be held in with screws to the back case like models before and ater it, I havent been able to find a ‘how to’ to remove it either, so dose someone have any advice on this please.

Acer Swift 3: My laptop won't charge

Hey, so my laptop has stopped charging after 3 years. I tried a different power cable but that's all. The problem could be anywhere form the power pack down. I've never had any issues like this before so I have no idea what it could be. Should I try to fix it myself?

Don't really want to spend 200 euro to repair something that cost me 800

Just bought the laptop an hour ago and the “m” key is dark. I assume my “m” key is faulty as it's too thick and doesn't let any backlight through and I need my keys in the dark. Should I go and get a replacement/refund or is there a way to replace a single keycap on the Acer swift 3?

Acer Swift 3: Single tap on the trackpad highlights?

This has happened twice before, without changing any settings whatsoever (well, to my knowledge anyway). Usually, a single tap on the trackpad would register as a click, but instead of clicking, the cursor locks on and it highlights everything. The only way to properly click and select stuff on-screen was to press on the touchpad. This problem usually surfaces very suddenly. I was wondering if I had accidentally activated some shortcut... how I should rectify this? Thanks in advance:)

Camera, Bluetooth, USB and card reader not working nor are they registered in device manager. Presuming a dead board of sorts. While the USB ports on the main board do not work, the html port does, who h are next to each other. Does the main board need replacing, or another board in the unit?

Acer Swift 3: Acer Laptop: How to fix/prevent screen flickering/freezing/lines?

Hello everyone! I have an acer swift 3 laptop (SF314-51-5831). It has gotten wet multiple times in the past. Another thing is that I often carried it in my backpack up close to my back with the weight of the backpack contents pressing onto the lid, which caused the hinge screws to come loose. When i recently started using it again after a pause the screen was working fine. But then it started to freeze/become grayscale/ only show top third (see attached photos). I have then taken the laptop apart and took all the tape of the EDP-cable to see if it was damaged. It still looks intact. When I connect the laptop via HDMI to an external monitor the picture is clear. When I hooked the screen back up via EDP-cable and gently bent the screen a while in all directions(just fiddling around) the picture was clear again(see attached photos). What causes this problem and how can i fix it? How can I prevent it from returning when I put the laptop back together? It seems to me there is water damage and I need to clean something but what? I don't want to buy a new screen or EDP-cable only if absolutely necessary. The screen panel is an AU Optronics B140HAN02.1. The EDP-cable is an CA4DB 1422-02GG000. Acer Swift 3: USB is stuck in port, cant get it out

My dad took my comp at some point in time before, but he came back with a noggin stuck to the USB port. Couldn’t get it out by normal means and had to break it since it was doing something weird to the computer. Now I’d like to get the stuck hardware out, but I don’t really see a good way of pulling it . Any help for that one? It’s getting really annoying :/

Acer Swift 3: No Bootable Device Problem

I currently have an Acer Swift 3 SF315-52 Laptop. I restarted the computer to fix an application bug, but when I tried to boot it up, it gave me a “No Bootable Device” Error. I looked into possible fix’s on the internet and most of them recommend changing the Boot Mode from UEFI to Legacy. However, this option is grayed out for me and I cannot change it. I have attempted to change many other settings in the bios to change the boot mode, but I have still not figured it out. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Acer Swift 3: What causes the F keys to be stuck?

My 2 year old Acer Swift 3 SF315-52 still looks like new but has an annoying fault - some of the F keys on the keyboard sometimes get stuck - not physically but the computer thinks they are continously being pressed. It also happens in Linux and in the BIOS so it’s not a Windows bug. Acer says the keyboard has to be replaced - at a cost of course. Do you think this is the only solution?

Hi guys, I found a burnt socket in my laptop today. It is not burnt heavily, should simple replacement of DC power jack work? How do I find out if the socket or motherboard is not damaged? I have multimeter at home. What was the cause? I am gonna check charger too. Thank you.

Acer Swift 3: Some keys on the keyboard won't work.

My Backspace, Backslash, Enter, Up Down and Right arrow keys, and my semicolin keys on my keyboard is not working anymore. I used to be able to fix it by gentlelling hitting my PC, or to slightly bend it (I know its not good). But now no matter what I do, it won't work. I now often have to pull out my on screen keyboard or use left arrow and delete key in order to undo my errors, and its painful.
