Acer Spin 713: Is it safe to open it up to soak up the tea I spilled on it?

My Stanley leaked my black tea with Stevia INTO my Chromebook. I let it dry for a day, then let it charge.I got it to charge, turn on, and function, but there are a few keys that seem to press others at the same time. Obviously, this means there is either still water or a sticky path left. Can I safely open it to wipe it off? Or are there things I should particularly watch out for with these Chromebooks?

Acer Spin 713: Screen won't turn on

I have the Acer spin c713-2w Chromebook and the screen is black. It does turn on if I connect it to an external monitor so that's good. Everything else is fine except screen. I think it might be the cable for the LCD that's routed through the hinge. How do I get to that cable or how do I get the cable from the hinge?
