Acer Aspire: No Bootable Device Found

I have an Acer Aspire V3-371 Series laptop here and it can't boot as it cannot find any Bootable device. I originally tried to reinstall Windows, that didn't work. So I tested the original HDD. It was defect to some degree. So I changed it out for a new one and installed Windows again. The PC worked! But just for a week or so before the exact same problem occurred again... Now I'm out of ideas what it could be.

Acer Aspire 3 A315: Screen going wavy and bright then just sits on black screen

It's actually an A314 series but only A315 shows. I don't know if that makes much difference since I'm not well versed in this stuff. Anyway, I had my laptop temporary fixed cause of a screen problem but then after a few days, said screen began showing wavy lines going upwards with the brightness too high even though in settings it's toned down. Turned it off then back on and has gotten me stuck on black screen since. The black screen itself lights up but never shows the acer logo to start and just sits in that black screen.

Acer Aspire 3 Series: Repeated “Stop running this script?” pop-ups,malware or browser issue?

My laptop keeps showing repeated pop-ups saying ‘Stop running this script?’ from a suspicious domain like
snconor.vg
, and the pop-ups stack up until the browser/laptop becomes very slow.

I suspect it might be adware, a browser hijacker, or malware.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

What is usually the main cause of this?

Could it come from browser notifications, extensions, or an actual virus?

What are the most effective steps to completely remove it?

Is resetting the browser and running an antivirus scan enough, or would reinstalling Windows be recommended?

Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-591G Disassembly: ACER Aspire Vn7-591G - where is the SSD?

My sister has an Acer VN7-591G laptop that won't boot (black screen, no output to HDMI)

She wants me to get the photos off her hard drive.

No problem I thought. I've popped out the HDD, but it is empty other than an old "iMovie Backup" directory.

Looking at the specs, it is supposed to be a dual HDD/SDD, so I assumed that the Windows installation and all her photos are on the SDD

However, there is no SSD in the machine! According to this guide:

https://www.myfixguide.com/manual/acer-a...

there should be an M.2 SSD on the bottom left of the motherboard. But that slot is EMPTY!!

How, if there is nothing but a few random files on the HDD was this machine ever booting? Is there somewhere else that Acer hide the SDD? I certainly can'y see anything...

It is so strange - it looks like it had an SSD (As the hard drive is empty), but its not there! What am I missing?!?

TIA
