Acer Iconia One 7: black screen - can't use it.

hello everyone,

I just needed some help with my Acer Iconia one 7 B1-770. I hit the display brightness/darkness at its minimum and found out I can't see nothing at all. I thought there might be issues with low battery but when I pressed the volume, I could hear any sound. Unfortunately, I cannot use my tablet anymore.

Does anyone could help me how to fix this issue??please.

Acer Iconia One 7: Plugged in, not charging

My tablet won't charge, and displays "Plugged in, not charging". I checked the charger, and it seems to work just fine with other devices, so I'm thinking this is a charging port issue. (Because if it was the battery that was the issue, it would display that it was at least charging, right?)

Does anyone have any idea what the cost to repair this would be? Would it be cheaper just to replace the whole thing?

Or might it actually still just be the battery? Anyone have any other ideas? Anything else to check?

I've left it charging (well, plugged in...) over 24 hours, left it to run the battery dead & shut itself off and left it off for a few days and tried again, tried connecting it to my PC, just to see what happens, all got me the same results: "Plugged in, not charging".

i have an acer iconia one 7 b1-770 7 inch tablet. i accidentally changed the screenlock code and don’t know the new code. i tried opening the recovery window volume up and on/off buttons but the screen shows fastboot on the bottom left hand side of the screen and stays on this screen. how do i unlock it?

My tablet was working alright with the internet until the copper wire was just replaced with Fibre so the modem was changed Its password is different and to use it I have to use the settings App to write the new password into the Tablet. Cannot do as app has disappeared. How do I get it back?

Mine sat in the box for 4 years, after opening it and leaving it to charge for 4 hours I go to turn it on and all that happens is the "intel inside" logo appears on a black screen, and it stays frozen that way indefinitely?! What problems am I facing??

It used to take about three to five minutes to start up but today it is taking something like 10 to 15 sometimes 20 minutes when it says optimizing 1 of 1 app, should i be concerned , I have had my Acer tablet about five months now, and the model number is B1-780 if it helps, thank you

I have this tablet, i used it a lot...but after one year the battery inflated, so i removed it and added some wires to put external batteries...but...one day i accidentally connected a wrong pack with 9V instead of my usual pack of 4.2V that is the voltage that it needs. I tried to find the main problem in hope to fix it without change the board because i don't have money for that. I noticed that it have some energy in every part, and when i press the power button the voltage increase and drop quickly. can someone help me?

After replacing my digitizer it is not responding correctly. It's like it's not calibrated properly. When I touch one place it appears somewhere else. I have to touch above or beside where I want to be. Is this a faulty digitizer or is there something else I can do? I tried cleaning the ribbon with ethanol but that didn't help.

I have a acer iconia one 7 tablet and want to do a hard reset because my daughter forgot the pass code. However when I go through the motions of the hard reset the tablet only shows "fastboot mode". If anyone knows why this happens or what I'm doing wrong, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Acer Iconia One 7: Display malfunctions, possibly loose wire. Is a home fix possible?

On my Acer iconia one 7 model B-770 tablet, the screen often begins flickering and distorting with static, having contrast problems (getting too bright), and simply displaying a black screen. The tablet still registers input during these malfunctions and otherwise functions fine. I believe that this is a hardware problem as when I put some pressure on the left border of the tablet from the middle up to the camera, the problem seems to stop. Can anyone explain the problem or provide a fix?
