Acer Chromebook C732: How can I safely remove hot glue from the keyboard

A device came across my desk with hot glue under the keys. My guess is that the user had attempted to replace the keys that had fallen off. How can I safely remove hot glue without damaging the key switches? I'm using 91% Rubbing Alcohol but I'm having little success.

Acer Chromebook C732: Acer C732 no start/no charge/no leds

My problem is no charge, no start-up, and no LEDs. On my Acer C732. It sat for a month without charge. I have tried to charge it overnight and it was no good. The charger has been tested and works. I unplugged the battery and plugged in the charger but the CB will not run on just the charger. Tried the hard reset. Looked for connections being loose and did not find anything. So from that, I was thinking it could be a bad MB (NB.GUK11.001). Any help or advice would be awesome.

Acer Chromebook C732: What could cause the USB-C port on my device to burn out?

Is there a specific circumstance or underlying issue that would cause a USB-C port to break in this way? The damage seems only to be sustained from the port, and there does not seem to be any damage to the board itself, so I'm wondering if there could be an outside factor.

Update 3/19/2024

I thought I'd update this post since I seem to be running into this issue again. I should add some details that I didn't think to add prior. The devices I've seen this happen to are from 2018 and have been using an official Acer OEM charger. I've eliminated the possibility of the outlets being over or undervolted. I have gathered that this is either an issue with the chargers or the actual laptops themselves.

I have examined the damaged devices several times, and none of the chips are visibly damaged. I have also replaced the chargers any time this issue has occurred. At this point any insight is greatly appreciated.

Acer Chromebook C732: Chromebook battery and software issues.

My chromebook (brought in Febuary ish of 2019) has been having a few issues recently. During school it freezes and crashes whilst I do light work on it, and lately it hasn't been charging. I've been using the same charger for about a year now and it's been good so far. Except my chromebook doesn't seem to hold its battery anymore, and I can charge it for hours. But when I try to turn it back on it either:

Doesn't turn on whatsoever

Turns on for a short while but crashes or runs out of juice before I can even enter my password.

I've tried doing system reboots and reinstalling ChromeOS versions, I've even powerwashed it. But nothing I do seems to work.

Please help!!!
