Acer Chromebook C730E: What to do if you spilled water on the chromebook?

I accidentally spilt water on top of my chromebook. I didn’t immediatly turn it off but I did shake and wiped all the surface water immediately. Its been air drying for around 3 and a half hours now. It doesn’t seem to be powering on.

I was taking off my keys and putting them back on. but then I did it with my up arrow and I cant put it back on, no matter how hard I try. the 2 pieces are still there. but I cant put it on. can y'all help? I dont wan to get in trouble

then i put flashlight to the screen and i saw that my device is running. the only problem is thre is no light in the screen
