Acer Aspire V5-573pg: Why does my Laptop only work when the charger is plugged in?

My laptop only turns on when the charger is plugged in and even then it fails to charge. As soon as I remove the charger from my laptop, it completely shuts down and I have to once again turn it on by plugging in the charger, pressing the power button and continuing to keep it plugged in until I stop using it....

Why won't it charge at all, and yet why does it only turn on with the charger plugged in?

The green light on the charger lights up when the cord is plugged to the laptop, which means that charger is working. I think it may be the battery but ive tried to reset it and take it off the laptop and then put it back on several times but still the same result.

PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN, I'D GREATLY APPRECIATE IT! Thanks :)

Acer Aspire V5-573pg: Why won't my Acer Aspire V5-571G power on?

I tried the common ways to solve this problem like holding the power button then tried turning on but still won't turn on. So I went to the nearest repair shop and they said that motherboard must be replaced because the broke fan and heatsink is "built in" to the board (I don't know what it means but I ask if it really irreplaceable and they answered 'yes'.)

I'll try to have second opinion but I'm scared that they could have same answer. I've tried googling for fan parts and it's available.

Any advice or what remedy I could try?

Hello,

My mum has broken my laptop and there's visible damage on the edge near the keyboard where it's coming apart. When I turn it on it goes to this blue screen, not sure what it is but it doesn't turn on anymore. Prior to this it used to over heat I've had it since September 2015. I also have expensive software on it and some old work from my degree and was wondering if it gets fixed will it be wiped? Also, can you give me a quote?

Thank you,

Acer Aspire V5-573pg: Noisy fan and overheating problem!

Hi all, my notebook's CPU temp when I run Edge only around 50C, and if I run more apps it starts to get higher and exceeds 60C. In general, fan sounds annoying after 40C 'most time', and it gets worse while the heat is increasing. What could be the possible problem? Does changing the fan solve the issue?

Note:

1) "I cleaned the fan and placed a thermal paste on the CPU".

2) I need the fan to be quiet because I want to record my voice on the PC. At this time I realized that I have a really noisy fan.

Thanks in advance!

Acer Aspire V5-573pg: Laptop updated a month ago, black screens only now.

Okay so this is my first post on any website like this, usually I'm able to find an answer but I just haven't been able to at all.. So I'm guessing no ones had this happen.

Anyway,

My laptop had updated and it was working slower than normal so I knew something was up, but then updated again and now it black screens with no mouse for an hour. Then it goes to the recovery settings, but as soon as you click on anything, it goes back to black screen and it just repeats like that.

No buttons work to bring anything else up ( F11, F5, F8, etc)

Acer Aspire V5-573pg: Power on problem (Press power button but blank screen)

When I pressed the power button to try to turn on my notebook, it just gave me a blank screen with nothing on it, just a dim screen and nothing. Then I pressed and held the power button until it was completely turned off. I closed the cover of the notebook and opened the cover to almost 180 degree, i.e. stretching the cover to the extent. By repeating this action (open and close the cover ) 2 - 3 times , then pressed the power button, the notebook would start up successfully. Sometimes, this whole process had to be repeated several times. Afterwards it worked perfectly well. My notebook was bought in Jan, 2013. Is it near end of its life ?

Pls help, thanks.
