Acer Aspire 8920g: laptop resetting during install

can anyone help my laptop keeps switching itself off and restarting during restore even if i use a stand alone windows not restore i have even tried from usb stick windows 7 BUT if iinstall linux or hackintosh its fine installs ok just i even have replaced the hard drive twice does it on windows any ideas

Acer Aspire 8920g: Display is not working

Hello,

after I start my laptop the load-screen is shown for about 10 sec after this the screen turns black. I know the laptop is still working and Windows is loading but without any graphic.

When I connect the laptop with an external Display, it works and I see the desktop external. This means the graphic card works but the laptop-display stays black. When I push the function button with f6 the lightning button the screen appears for some seconds on the laptop-screen and again nothing. What could be the Problem?

Acer Aspire 8920g: Laptop keeps freezing or shutting off

When booting the laptop normally it boots then gets stuck if it boots till lock screen if we move the cursor. In automatic repair if we move the cursor its freezes and also freezes while boot it doesn't freeze in bios but sometimes does even when we connect the charger it freezes. Im thinks its a bad video card but let me know.

Hey all,

So I'm still using a Acer Aspire 8930 (I know it's ancient but anyway.)

The screen at the top has been bursted for about a year now, (all black stripes and spots across the top.. but I can still see and use half my screen for now.. Until dooms day arrives

When i trun my laptop on it starts up loads then about 10 min after it open these like a pop sound the screen goes dead i tried an external device, but the screen is still blank on the external device to .Can you help.

Acer Aspire 8920g: Why am I not get any display the laptop turns on but no black light

Ive had this issue before and its like when i turn on the laptop theres no black light for others there was the same issue but with black light here i don't even get the black light when the issue came before i connected the laptop to external display later on the display started working (the laptop though that its connected to vga or hdmi) so no i tried to connect to external display but im getting no display
