Acer Aspire 5750: blinking power light on laptop

When I plug the charger in the power light blinks and also 3 of the little lights on the bottom blink also. When the charger is not plugged in the lights doesn't blink. Also if I push the charger in harder to make it work my laptop shuts off.

I push the power button and it just flashs 5 times then stops the laptop dosnt boot the screen dosnt even turn on an also the light bolb icon at the bottom flashs too.

Hi.

After not using my laptop for several months, I’ve charged it up overnight and now when I turn it on, I hear the fan and then it shuts off.

Nothing on the screen except ‘press F2 to enter start up’, which I tried but it shut down.

No chance to do anything. It’s all very quick

the power jack on my acer aspire 5750 seems to be loose. and when i tug on the power cable, the computer just stops charging at all. is this a common problem? and if so, is there a way to fix it?

Acer Aspire 5750: Power button blue but screen is black

I haven't used this laptop in 4 years but when I go to turn it on the power light turns on blue, has a little start up from what I can hear then nothing. Screen stays black no logo. The two out of the four light at the bottom of the laptop turn blue but thats it. Its fully charged. Any help? Or has it been too long?

Laptop won't proceed past initial start up checks. The following 2 msgs keep repeating :

Attempting to recover installation.
Undoing changes made to your computer.
I have tried to break cycle by series of turning on and off in quick sucession. I read that a possible solution would be to try to start up in Safe Mode but I can't even get to this stage. Every time I turn on three same occurs.

I would like to know why this happens and more importantly, is there dinnertime I can do?

Acer Aspire 5750: Why does my device shut down when the plug wiggles?

When I have my Acer Aspire 5750z-4217 plugged in, if the cord gets pulled or moved, and the plug happens to wiggle in the charging port, it sends the laptop directly to shutdown. Took it to uBreakiFix, and they said it was a bad battery and charging cord. However, I’m currently typing this with out it plugged in, and the battery is still holding a decent charge. I thought maybe the port needed soldering or something, but after 5 days of “diagnostics” that was what they came up with. Thank goodness they didn’t charge me anything . *eyeroll*

Acer Aspire 5750: Fan is making strange noises. How do I replace it.

My Gateway NV57H (which is just a rebranded Acer 5750) has been making strange whirring noises every time I have it open for ten to thirty minutes. It seems to be emanating from the fan. I just purchased a new fan for the laptop, but I have no idea how to remove the old one and install the new one. Does anyone know how to do this?
