Acer aspire 5315: laptop has no signs of power

my Laptop Acer 5315 series has no indication of any power. I just bought a new charger and same thing. what should I pay attention to when I start taking it apart? is there any lights inside that could point to the source of the problem? Thanks

Cannot turn on my computer!

Hi!

Cannot turn on this laptop.

If I plug it in with battery in - status LEDs are indicated as:

Power/Suspend LED - lights up red;

Battery Charge/Discharge LED - bliks red;

If I plug it in with battery out - status LEDs are off;

When I try to turn computer on in both cases Power/Suspend LED turns on green for a half second as soon as I release the power button and I can hear as ventilator span on, but after half second it all turns down and returns to previous positions.

after installing ubuntu 12.04 my notebook acer aspire 5315-2142 starts warming and the system shut down suddenly only running on ubuntu. The fact doesn`t occur when working with windows 7.

How can I solve this?
