Hi have updated Bios and Drivers, seems a Windows 10 issue, after reboot touchpad works until device boots into windows 10. The bios contains no touchpad setting to change from basic to advanced. Any ideas or pointers would be great.

As above , I just purchased an Acer Aspire 3 15.6 Inch A9 4GB 1TB FHD Laptop and find it to be a bit slow for me. Can this model be upgraded and if so how easily? If I can upgrade the RAM it would save me returning it for 8GB RAM model.

Acer Aspire 3 A315-21-92FX: ACER ASPIRE 3 battery had died - now not charging and no power

ACER ASPIRE 3 A315-21 model

I was using my laptop and the battery symbol appeared to notify me that my battery was running low. Then it completely switched off. I plugged the charger in but no LED lights appeared and there is no power to the laptop.

I have tried a different charger but have the same issue.

I have removed the battery and replaced but again there is nothing. I have no equipment to test the battery - it is only 18 months old so surely it should be ok?

Does anyone have any other ideas? I have alot of work on there which i need :(

For the last year and a half I've set aside my laptop due to it just not working. One day, when I turned it on it blue-screened. It said it "Bad_System_Config_Info" as the error, and then went through one other screen with the Acer logo that said "Preparing Automatic Repair" and it's supposed to switch to "Diagnosing your Pc" which mine never does, before going to this screen ->

After that screen pops up, I usually give up cause I realize there's not much I can do.
I know if I re-install Windows 10 and use the Repair Tools they discuss it'll probably fix it, but I don't exactly bathe in money, so I'm not sure what to do

I am having an unstable connection with my wifi the router is not the problem because other devices have solid and stable connections but my aspire 3 (2018) model fluctuates from 3 bars to 1 or disconnects I'm looking for a wifi card upgrade if possible

so i've has this laptop and issue for a while, it started as some dead pixels on the corner of my screen and slowly spread outwards until the entire screen turns white upon boot. i recently decided to power the laptop on again and using an hdmi cord to plug it in to a TV which worked perfectly

I have had my laptop for almost a year and it worked perfectly fine up until now. I was on youtube and it suddenly turned off when it was working fine previously. I’ve tried everything from holding down the power button, charging it and all that.

There’s no light when I hold down the power button as well, I’m sort of worried that my laptop is completely dead. I love that laptop but I can’t afford to buy a new one. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I opened The Sims 4 on my Acer Aspire 3 A315-23 N18Q13 laptop, it was working great but it suddenly turned off mid game. I have had this laptop for about three years and I cannot afford a new one. The battery was at least 90%. I have not been able to turn it back on since. I have tried holding the power button continuously, plugging it in, all sorts. I don’t understand why it won’t turn on, but ideally I need to fix it by Monday for my college work.

Hey all! My mate gave me an Acer Aspire 3 A315-41-R540 with a cracked screen. I have found many replacement screens on eBay, but they often only say Acer Aspire A315 screen, or A315-22. I am unsure whether these screens will actually fit my model, as i noticed several differences. I will try to post an image of the model, and the screen, and the ribbon cable soon!

Acer Aspire 3 A315: Some keys from my keyboard aren't working properly

The following keys have problems working: 'D'. The following numbers don't even work at all, most of the time I just hold them long enough and they SORT OF work for the time my device remains turned on, once it's off, the issue doens't change much regardless of how long I hold the keys: SIX, EIGHT, NINE. Also F1 and F2 don't work at any instance, they literally do nothing, on top of that, some numbers have become useless like ONE from the right side of the laptop, I forgot the name of this set of keys, but I just use the NumLock key to actually use the numbers that don't work, like 1, 6, 8 and 9. Never had this sort of issue before, not sure why it's even happening since it's a very specific set of keys and such, help would be much apreciated.
