ASUS VG248: How to make it run on 12V

I’d like to connect it to my Van electric system which runs on 12V, without having to use an inverter (since it kills the battery life). Any suggestion or recomendation will be most appreciated.

ASUS VG248: Red pixels show up randoming, covering almost the entire screen.

I just bought this new monitor and it was working just fine until recently. Every so often this weird, red pixel “filter” goes over the screen. You can clearly see what is actually on the monitor, but it interferes with work and games. It just shouldn’t be there.

Graphics card is a GTX 1070 8G and I am using the DVI port not the HDMI

ASUS VG248: Monitor suddenly turned blueish

Just like everyday i started my computer and everything was okay. But suddenly a white-ish fog arrived. Couldnt fix it for hours. But then i had the idea to update my graphics card drivers. After updating the white-ish fog turned into blue-ish with borders that actually project the right monitor colour. There is also a line in the monitor that appeared with the fog.
