ASUS Eee PC 1001PX: How to repair touchpad flat cable?

ASUS Eee PC 1001PX Hard Drive Replacement

Hi guys, firstly I would like to thank who did that guide. It's wonderful. Unfortunately, I didn't find that one before trying it. So, I damaged that flat cable that connects the touchpad on motherboard. The link below is the picture of the damaged cable.

What could I do to repair the damage? If the solution is purchase another cable, what's it?

Many thanks

ASUS Eee PC 1001PX: How do I replace the cooling fan?

The fan runs most of the time in a very loud and disturbing way.

I could still use the computer since everything works fine, but this noise of the fan is very disturbing. Therefore I would like to replace the fan by a new one.

That way I could still use my computer and wouldn't need to buy a new one.

Any ideas how this is done? Thanks!

ASUS Eee PC 1001PX: Switch the HDD and now have no Power

I Have changed the HDD, the older was on cyclic redundancy but i could go to the Bios, now I’ve changed the HDD, the only power he gets is from battery connected to electricity. The fan doesn’t move, the Eee PC doesn’t give any sign of life. I connected to a monitor and doesn’t appears anything. It seems that is dead. When i was on the disassembly the only thing happened badly was on the lifting the two black retainers and sliding the cable out over the HDD one of them break out
