ANKER SoundCore: Anker SoundCore Sport XL Disassembly

I have an AnkerSoundCore XL. It’s no longer charging and I’m trying to replace the micro USB port by follow a guide for a similar device, the Anker Soundcore.

The front of the Anker Soundcore Sport XL is different. It seems like there are allen screws in them, but I can’t tell if they’re for show. No standard allen key seems to work.

Does anyone know how to disassemble the Anker Soundcore Sport XL to replace the micro USB port? Will the guide below be similar steps after removing the front?

ANKER SoundCore: Connecting 4 Anker Soundcore2 bluetooth speakers

Hello all, I am definitely a newbie at all of this and am searching for help. Using Jukebox Jocket software, a hard drive update as well as a few other things, I made a computer juke box. Works well! Kids bought me 4 of the Anker Soundcore2 bluetooth speakers to go with it so that I don't have speaker wires all over the place. I can get 2 speakers paired up but not the 4, I get 1 pair or the other but not both. Am I missing something, possibly some kind of program that does this? Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated, thank you

Anker soundcore: Can I charge à rechargable battery directly from à power source?

Can i charge à rechargable battery directly from à power source without going throughout à charger?

I have bluetooth speaker which is charger using à mini USB port. The USB plug has been destroyed and is no longer usable. Taling the speaker apart I can see where the battery attaches to the PC board. If I 'tap in' to the wires going from the battery to the board and attach a 5V 1A power source, everything seems to work OK. Also, it appears as though the battery charges up.

I could simply cut the battery wires and run the speaker directly from the power block. The question is, if I keep the battery connected will it overcharge and cause problems (such as overheating and catching fire)?

Thanks.
