My scooter starts fine with kick starter but has no spark when I try to use electric starter.

It has new battery and ignition coil and plug.

Turns over fine just won't catch

Purchased a new 4 wire Ignition key Switch for my 49cc gas scooter and the colrs of the wires do not match the old ones which are Red, Orange, Yellow and Green. The new key Ignition Switch wiring are -Red, Black, White-Red and White Black. How do I know where each wire goes.

Attn; The on-line store which I purchased from advertised the original colors but sent me the different colors of Black, Red, White-Black, White-Red.

49 CC Gas Scooter: My RPM's are getting very high at about 40 MPH.

I have a 49cc gas scooter and I'm having a little bit of a problem. When I hit about 35 MPH my RPM's jump between 9 and 10,000 and it wont allow me to go above 40. Also, it gives me kind of a "jumpy" feeling when it does so. Every now and then this will subside and run normal, but not for an extended period of time.

49 CC Gas Scooter: Moped is turning off when I’m at lights

So my moped is turning off when I’m at stop lights. Most of the time it’s fine but sometimes if I’m not Devine it completely or will turn off and then won’t start till after it cools off for a bit. Wasn’t happening as recently after I changed the oil because I thought it was that but now it’s doing it again and I don’t know why. Other then that seems to run fine, except when I changed the oil it was almost completely out and now it’s loud when I drive it, which it quieted itself after I put oil in it but now it’s back to that, so maybe that’s what and I messed it up completely by running it without. Idk I don’t think it’s the oil tho I think it’s something else from what I could see on the internet already but I’m not completely sure. It usually starts fine it’s just starting it after that happens is hard unless I wait a while and try again. Thank you so much (:

49 CC Gas Scooter: Loud noise at full throttle

I am experiencing a loud noise at full throttle once up to full speed. It occurs when the bike is warm/cold and on and off of the stand. I’ve checked valve clearance, exhaust mounts, air/fuel ratio, air filter, spark plug. I tried sounding out where the noise was coming from exactly and it just sounded like it was coming from the center of the motor. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
