When I open the driver's door, the radio continues to play and interior lights do not turn ON etc. How can I test if this is a sensor switch problem or a wiring issue.?

Whether I select the lock/unlock button from my key fob OR the button on the vehicle door, my rear door on the driver side only responds 50% of the time. While this is not a major issue, it's been happening for about a year, and it's starting to drive me crazy. I try to avoid going to the dealership whenever possible.

I'm assuming this is probably an electrical issue or shortage, but I'm not exactly sure of where to begin.

Been tapping on the starter board underneath the truck to get it started but fear the starter is failing is it possible to repair this without taking it to the shop?

I had to rewire the sensors to make them longer so they could fit a custom bumper but sensors no long turn on.

2014-Present GMC Sierra: After a battery swap lost half of my electronics.

I did a battery swap and half my electronics quit working. Driver headlight, Passenger front blinker, Radio, AC, Passenger front & back door windows, back slide window, Sunroof, Doorlocks, No brake lights, I have a set of magnetic trailer lights pluged into my 4way trailer light plug because it still works All fuses are good. How can I diagnose & fix the problem without going to GMC
