2008 Honda Pilot: Dvd for navigation not working

So my vechicle is actually a 09 honda pilot but there wasn't a guide for that year.

So the navigation unit wouldn't read the map dvd. Cannot get disk to eject. Took it apart and saw there is a round concave metal disk that came loose on the top of the disk, i think its to hold the disk in place and to stabilize it. Is there a way to permanently mount this in place so that the unit will work? Didn't realize that when the map dvd went down, so did half of the features in the car..
