2008-Present Dodge Caravan: My van will randomly not start.

We have tried to jump it but it won’t jump but then will randomly start without doing anything. Then today it started fine but the battery light was on but ran fine when I got to my driveway and turned it off it wouldn’t start back up. I had a short drive but in that time my air started blowing hot air but only in the defrosters. My front vents went blowing anything. My radio also wouldn’t work. To me that says alternator but would that also cause the problem I’ve been having for the past couple months of it randomly not starting? By random I mean it will get me from point A to B but might take an hour or more then will eventually start.

2008-Present Dodge Caravan: Glitch in the electrical system

You are driving down the road all of a sudden the chime goes off the whole dashboard reboots the wipers activate. Some times it does this repeatedly other times once n that's it. It will go for months and not do it again. Other times for an entire trip. Had one code said misfire so changed all 6 plugs and wires even the coil. Went weeks then doing it at random. We have even pulled into truck stop unhooked battery and let it sit for awhile. Sometimes this stops it other times soon as we get going it will start again. It's driving me nuts trying to figure it out.

I have pulled every fuse and relay no corrosion or other signs of damage. When we got it negative battery clamp was broken.I swapped it to exact OEM replacement has dialectic grease on both freshly cleaned post. Has a new alternator all connections cleaned and lubed same as battery. The entire spark system has been swapped out plugs, wires and coilpack all lubed where called for. Checked out the driver door wiring harness and no shorts in it or broken wires.

2008-Present Dodge Caravan: Poping the hood from outside

Hello,

I have a dodge grand caravan 2009 Swivel and go and my car battery is dead and I only have the manette to open the door (I don’t have a key) (the battery is really dead and won’t even open the doors) so I can’t access the lever to pop the hood to boost my car.

Is there a way to open the hood latch from the outside?

2008-Present Dodge Caravan: Right turn signal works oddly.

So, if we start the card and turn on the right blinker. It seems to work o.k. However if

turn on the headlights and check the blinker, no go. The front one works (fast) but no back blinker. Turn off the head lights, and the symptom stays. Looking at the wiring diagram shows that the lamp is operated by a unified electronic module. So, is it possible that the lamp has a bad ground or lead wire that shows open when the headlights are on?
