2008-2013 Nissan Altima: How can I find out why none of the buttons on my steering wheel work?

None of the buttons on my steering wheel are working, including the horn! But when the car alarm is triggered the horn goes off, so I know it works. How can I find out what’s wrong and try to fix it myself? Ignition button to the side of steering wheel works fine, wipers & blinkers work too, just no buttons!

When I accelerate my car shimmies and as I'm driving it shifts occasionally during my travels. Please help I'm a combat veteran and I've been trying to figure this out cause first off dont have a whole lot of money when I'm the sole provider for my family, so I'm forced to solved these issues on my own. My car was running normally then switched off the engine for a few hours, came back and while trying to start again, cooling fan runs, no crank and engine won't start.

All dashboard lights on after single click on start button while pushing breaks (cooling fan runs), which is really weird coz engine is not hot. Another press on start button, everything goes off.

I recently changed radiator and spark plugs + 2 ignition coil.

Any idea what could be the reason and how i can fix it?

I replaced the mass airflow sensor in my 2011 Altima, but I'm still getting the same service engine code. The sensor was brand new and only in the car for 10 miles when the code came up again.

2008-2013 Nissan Altima: Why is my car unresponsive: desperate for direction

Okay I have a 4 door 2008 Nissan Altima. I just pumped hundreds of $$ into fixing a valve oil leak, on top of other things. Once fixed, the car drove smoothly for all of 48 hrs before it became completely unresponsive. So unresponsive that I can’t lock my doors, I can’t pop my truck, interior or exterior lights do not turn on, the car does not crank or start, no flashing lights what so ever. We attempted to give it a jump and the most that happened was it cranked but then quickly shut off again. I then let it sit for a few minutes and a quick light appeared and then disappeared. But for the most part no action outside of that. Also something to note, I just bought a new battery less than 3 months ago. So it’s fairly new. Could it be a possible fuse blown ? Or is it much deeper than that? Please give me some direction, I’m I so hopeless and ad defeated at this point.

My Altima has 118k miles, was jerking and hesitant when going into drive and reverse, so I parked it. It had a lean code p171 and p300 misfire code so i changed spark plugs and coils, valve cover and gasket, MAF, cleaned throttle body and checked all the fuses. It still does not accelerate, but the RPMs will go high (past 4k) until i let off gas pedal. Goes into all gears just fine, reverse has no issues now, but when i put in drive it feels like its in limp mode. Checked the alternator and its fine, also car has a new battery too. Im at a loss. I still owe $4k on this car and was quoted $2k for a used installed tranny. I really need help!!! Oh i had a TPS code and a throttle actuator code come up 2101, 123 & 223 then realized I had a loose sensor on the throttle body. I cleared the codes and check engine light went off but still doing it. Please Help!!!
