The car came with some terrible cheap android sound system.. that didn't work.. and wires cut and left hanging. Im trying to fix this. But it seems like i can't figure it out.

2005-2010 Chrysler 300: "No Communications" with the ECM

My background: Former Chrysler technician, 17 year employee @ Alldata.com as Senior Technical Editor, ASE certified Master Tech (plus numerous other certs)

Vehicle: 1971 Plymouth Barracuda

Engine: 2006 Chrysler 300 6.1 Hemi with original engine harness, ECM, & FCM Transmission: Tremec 6 speed manual

200 PSI compression pressure while cranking.

The ECM has had the SKIM (security) option deleted by All Computer Resources, Inc.

I have triple-checked powers, grounds, 5 volt references, and wiring to both modules. Also has 12 volts & 2 grounds at the OBD connector.

The CAN high & low wires measure 60.8 ohms. Voltages on those lines measures 2.61 volts and 2.43 volts, respectively.

Crankshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor are making their respective outputs, as measured by an external oscilloscope.

The ASD Relay & Fuel Pump Relay do power up when the key is turned on, then the fuel pump relay waits for a cranking signal, then it re-energizes when the engine is cranking.

Has power to the coils & fuel injectors through the ASD relay.

Problems:

When I plug in the scan tool, it powers up but can't communicate with the ECM.
No spark output at the coils
No fuel injector pulses.

Any ideas for correcting the “No Communications” problem would be greatly appreciated.

According to Chrysler, the Front Control Module (FCM) acts as global communicator for all of the other modules. Does anyone know of a way to bench test the FCM?

Someone else suggested trying another ECM, in case this one is bad. Sure, it could be bad. I'm not sure if it was working before the SKIM delete was performed or maybe it went bad BECAUSE that was performed. I thought about plugging this ECM into another car, just to see if it would communicate, but according to Chrysler, doing that would reactivate the SKIM system, thus negating the $125 SKIM delete that I've already paid for.

I turn on the car it runs good the first time I turn it on after I turn it on again it starts too put put and it's only after I turn it off I have to wait till the next day so it can drive good when I put gas I have to leave it on so I won't have to turn it off and have the put put come on after I turn it off

So I have a Chrysler Sebring 2009 which is not an option on here but if anyone knows I have a problem with idling high but the idling doesn't make the car move or anything it just idles High then when I go to press on mybreak feels stiff but not all the time only when it idles High and feels like the car wants to go somewhere but it doesn't then I go to press on my break and it's so stiff as if my brakes were not blood right anyone know what this can or can be.

It said I had a bad fuel injectors and it said circuit 2 so I change that and then it said something about a fuel Loop and after I changed injector it still made a ticking noise and the code reader said the same thing

My car worked fine i drove it for several months I have had 0 problems out of it other than the thermostat housing busting wich has been replaced and previously driven after replaced with no problems. i went to start my car after getting off of work and arriving at home shortly after going outside and my car had power to everything and key is fine but my car would not turn over it use to make a humming sound when i turned the key but no longer does and does nothing but still has power im lost as !&&* i really could use some professional experience help on figuring out how to get my car running again i am very much assuming that it is a minor easy technical issue dealing with either my key or my computer in my car iv checked my fuses and iv checked my started to the best of my stature. please someone. I have a cellphone also if i could have someone 1 on 1 help me id be very greatful. i need my ride to drive again and theres not relly anything VERY OBVIOUSLY wrong with it please. thanks. its 2006 chrystler 300 3.7

2005-2010 Chrysler 300: 08 Chrysler speedometer & warning lights after reversing jumper cables

Hello

I called "XXX" company to jump start my vehicle and the guy apparently reversed jumper cables before realizing they are supposed to be the other way around!

Currently, my speedometer is not working and other warning lights are showing up. Note that when I do the reset trick (by holding the trip reset button etc), the speedometer moves up then it goes down to zero again.

Any thoughts?
