Hi how are you there? I would like to help me about this problem in my car! I have Citroen c3 2004 Tiptronic! After the car is go on about 25 km, I feel that the car is starting to heat, there is no indicator of the heat in the motor car, and the car started to chirp and then the car is separated from the gear ! and then, I must make the car take a break for about half an hour, then the car go on again , and then the car it must take a break again after 25 km! I would like to understand what the car problem is and what it gets! can you helpe me in this problem,please? thank you

Hello my daughter has just bought a C3 2002 after 2 weeks the starter motor died we changed it for a new one but the car will not start !

We have tested the battery and all the fuses in the car and in the engine fuse box we found a big green 30 amp fuse blown and have replaced it ,

Still will not start just clicks !

The car will start if we connect a cable to the battery earth and the engin metal ,

there is a problem earth but where ?

We have changes 20amp fuse HS ans reset the BS, also the diagnostic reveals nothing !

And why would it blow a 30amp fuse ?

Please help

Hello there

I parked my car yesterday and after two hours came back and my car was not starting. Everything was normal the lights, windows and even radio. So I am quite sure its not battery. I removed some fuses and put them back but didnt work.

Wondering if anyone have a solution or at least know what the problem is.

The remote car key has stopped working, I guess it is the battery as you can see the red light shining when you press the lock or unlock button and a very vague sound can also be heard.

I don't know how to open the car key, I've searched online but cannot find the specific remote car key model that I have.

When my C3 closes with the remote control, it locks the doors. But when you pull the door handle, it opens. If you close it with the manual key, this no longer happens and it closes normally. Someone can help me?

2002-2009 Citroen C3: Flat spot and reluctance to pick up speed.

I have a C3 2006 petrol, manual drive. My problem is this; at around 1800 RPM there is a slight flat spot on getting going. It is worse if I am on an incline or a hill. Travelling in traffic at these revs. ( in top gear) can be annoying and I some times have to drop it into 3rd.

The Citroen garage says there is no fault as nothing shows on their computer, however the technician (mechanic) when I eventually got him to drive the car with me, admitted that there was a fault, but did not know how to fix it. His boss said likewise. so much for computers! I am an ex mechanic of the old plugs and points era and can fix most things but this has me beat. I have done all the obvious, new plugs, cleaned the crank sensor, checked for dubious earths on cables, etc. Can anyone throw any light on this problem please? By the way, it is worse when the car is cold after just starting up.
