I work at a smaller dealership and we work on several 2001-2007 dodge grand caravans and Chrysler Town&Country vans and the issue I have a majority of the time is that the sliding doors will reverse as the door gets a few inches from full closed. Here is a list of things we have tried..

MAKING SURE THE SLIDER IS ADJUSTED CORRECTLY

ROLLERS ARE GOOD

TRACK IS CLEAN AND DOOR ROLLS FINE MANUALLY

SCHLEPP IS FINE (?)

ALL CABLES ARE GOOD

I have an 05 Dodge Grand caravan 3.3 v6. My car alarm went off at 11 pm while key was hanging on my wall. My van shut the car alarm off by itself. I thought it was a neighbor. 10 mins later my horn is blaring.

2001-2007 Dodge Caravan: Passenger side window wont move. Switches don't work on either side

Hi! First question on here :). The passenger side window does not roll up or down, does not make any noise, and neither switch works(driver/pass). My driver’s side and rear vents all operate normally. I took the door panel off and applied voltage to the motor and the window operates up and down fully functioning. This leads me to believe its just the switch, but how could both switches go bad? I tried using jumper wires to activate the window without the switch but can’t figure out what wire goes where even though I’m looking at the switch itself :/.

So, its either both switches went bad, or its a fuse? But I don’t think there is a fuse for each window? Could someone tell me what to do next or give me a diagram on how to activate the window using jumper wires? Thanks for all the help from everyone!

I purchased this van about a year or two ago, that was previously in a state that apparently had snow , and so far its been my favorite out of all my vehicles, but recently there have been some issues that seem to be fairly questionable, my dad usually helps me with most of my stuff and i took it to have it looked at but i dont know anything about these things unfortunately but my dad already has so much on his plate right now so i wanted to at least price parts, though because of the rust i have no clue which part to look for so im not wasting my time or money or if its rusted so bad that there would need to be body work done, i still have information from the place so im going to try my best to post the pics here if i can and kinda hope for a miracle, thank you for any help i can receive here
