2000-2006 BMW M3: Cannot start my car

Hi Guys, when I try to start my e90 m3, i can't start the car. I am getting DSC failure and FTM error. I can hear the engine cranking and trying to start but it stopped after that.

I have called up several friends and they told me that battery could be weak. I have tried to jump start using another car battery but same error.

Any advice? Should I just try to change the battery?

Are the errors normal for a weak battery?

2003 BMW e46 318i... runs until warmed up then cuts out... wait 20mins and it starts again.

Any one have some answers ??

2000-2006 BMW M3: Why is my car shaking when idle?

My car or rather the engine is vibrating in short consecutive bursts when stopped. The car runs pretty smoothly when moving but sometimes when i press on the gas there is like a delay or no response and i gotta press harder for the car to go faster. What could this be? Please let me know all possible causes and fixes.
