1998-2006 Volvo S80: Why does my car squeel/whisles after warming up

2003 Volvo S80 2.9 Liter

Car squeels real load after warming up. It never runs hot according to the temp gauge but engine feels overheated. Uses a lot of water but doesn't smoke. If I leave it started, sounds like I'm pressing on gas. It seems to drive okay but check engine light is on. It doesn't seem like the fan kicks on and off correctly. I fill with water now instead of antifreeze at least 3 times in 2 days. Recently it just stopped needing filled completely. I'm afraid of cracking the head or worse. What could the problem be?

1998-2006 Volvo S80: makes a loud "BRRRRRRRing" sound when trying to start & doesn't start

Battery dead. Hooked up to charger. Try to start and a LOUD BRRRRRRR or Clucking sound comes from under the hood. Car will not start.

Put a charger on the thingy under the hood to jump start but didn't work. Battery itself is in the trunk. Should I have put the charger there instead?

1998-2006 Volvo S80: Car cuts off, abs and check engine light on.

Hi I have a 2000 Volvo s70 and recently I noticed that my check engine, service light and abs light are all on. The lights randomly go on and off, but when they do come on while driving, you can feel a drastic change or a shake in the engine. After they come on, i am still able to drive for a bit until my rpms suddenly starts to go up and down extremely fast, car starts to jerk and stumble while the check engine light, service light abd abs lights go on and of extremely fast then the car turns off. But crazy thing is, i can turn it back on abd the car will drive fine until it happens again. Any answers? I really need help. Could it be the throttle body?

1998-2006 Volvo S80: How do I repair a magneti marrelli throttle body?

01 v70 with the naturally aspirated 2.4L inline 5 the same available in an s80. Car has been a nightmare but has recently gone limp because TBM is not responding as it should. Wires are all intact and throttle position sensor good. Quoted 800 for new part alone at local shop. Would care to not throw 1000+ at the 24 year old 201k mile Volvo and looking to attempt to repair on my own.

1998-2006 Volvo S80: Cranks over but won't start

Cold weather had to jumpstart car it was turning over normal then clicked like dead battery rehooked cables and then spun over easy. Replaced starter cause I thought Bendix gear in starter was bad. Replaced battery also. Now it turns over really easy but won't start. Timing belt still functional, fuel pressure good at rail but will not fire. Have not checked spark but did check fuses.
