I have an electric issue after replacing my transmission on 2002 Ford f150 crew lariat. As far as I can see I did things right but when I went to start the truck it flickered the dash and nothing would happen. I can start it with a jump box. I have since ran a new ground from starter to frame and from frame back to battery. Something I've noticed when hooking up my jump box is that as soon as I turn it on it will start safety clicking so I'm assuming that's a positive line issue. Battery shows good voltage and after jumped alternator does it's job. What could be the issue?

When I put the key in to start it, it turns real fast without any force like a spring broke or gears wore out. It has power to everything just won't start because it's not connecting thru ignition switch.

When starting lights flash on and off. Little blue light to the left of stering wheel flashes. Also the overdrive light flashes. The truck seems to be in limp mode or something. If you try to drive it will go 35mph at around 2500rpm. If you try to go over 40 your like over 3200rpm.

My 2000 f150 won't change gears easily and it's hard to get it to go into park or out of park. I've tightened the 2 T30 screws on the steering shaft linkage and tried to adjust the slack in the cable but nothing works. What should I try next?

I have a 2003 Ford F150 4.2L V6 XL I hear a ticking noise coming from under the hood when I accelerate but not at idle, I have checked tried to see if there was anything loose but can't see anything that is loose or what could be causing the noise, I have recently changed the upper and lower manifold gaskets water pump idle control sensor break booster belt tensioner pulley assembly, I haven gone back and checked my work but can't find anything, and like I said it only makes noise when I accelerate not at idle...

Just bought truck ran great. Checked ATF NONE on dipstick. Added fluid, lost 3 & 4 gear. Only had 1st & 2nd and reverse. Changed fluid, only drained about 3 quarts when stick showed within operating range. Replaced filter and added 3 quarts and one bottle of Lucas and it showed within operating range. Husband added some kind of transmission conditioner by Lucas and some shutter stuff by Dr. Tranny took off fine but slowly came to a stop with no power from tranny. No forward gears only reverse. PLEASE HELP we are stranded about 2 hours from home …just want to get home. Could this be just a solinoid issue?

Btw tranny is 4R70W
