<title><![CDATA[1968-1970 Dodge Charger: Kickdown lever linkage and carb not working properly.]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>WOT is too much travel to the kickdown lever. 440 magnum, 800cfm Quick Fuel, TCI 727 Torqueflight. I can adjust the carb to the furthest point to push the kickdown lever all the way back. but using a return spring it raises the rod well above the pump. Doesn't it have to be in contact with the pump all the time. If I don't use the spring, it rests on the pump but there is alot of travel left before the carb pushes down on the pump...</p>

<p>Someone please enlighten me on this mechanical nightmare, it just doesn't make sence.</p>]]></description>
